Now it’s time to hit the water and to make sure you don’t go and hurt yourself, here’s a fun and dynamic warm up to get. you ready physically and mentally.

A dynamic warm up as goal to wake up your nervous system that will also put your body in a performance mode. I agree that depending of the numbers of days of sailing you get within a season, you might be nervous and febrile to get in the straps, but 7 minutes to warm up ain’t going to ruin your day!
Following you’ll find 6 drills, most you’ve already done, but in different sequences to reach the warm up goal.

The warm up should be in a good pace, but not breath taking! So if you’re getting tired before going in the water… maybe you’re putting too much energy in it!
